Jacob shot his 1st deer yesterday (9/13/09). He got it near Pratt, KS on the property that Brad Meyers has shared with us for the past several years. If we told you who owns it or where it is, we'd have to kill you! He used a .243 and shot him at 150 yds...all on video. Mom and Dad were both there and shed a few tears of joy and thankfulness. Now he wants to get him Mathews bow and shoot a doe from a treestand. He is the biggest Hunter Safety System promoter in the world...

We'd also like to say how proud we are of Rob Morehead...who joined the army and reported to basic training @ Ft. Benning in Columbus, GA on Sept. 14. He will join us in December during a break so he can try to bust a big KS buck.

We went to Las Vegas for our anniversary on November 14. Our good buddy Randy Couture happened to be fighting Brock Lesnar for the UFC Heavyweight Championship and we were blessed to go and enjoy the action. These pictures were taken the night before the fight at Randy's Xtreme Couture Gym as he was working out. A great number of friends and family turned out to watch Randy prepare for the fight.
Jesse killed this great 8 pt buck in Iowa with the Blodgett family & Iowa Trophy Outfitters. Randy Couture will be hunting there early December, so we will send pictures of his big buck when he gets one! Jesse saw several giants and there is a 200" buck running around on the property, so maybe Randy will get lucky!
